When we first started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a first dance that really stood out. We decided to go to Arthur Murray because we knew we wanted a fulfilling and thorough experience to not only choreograph the dance, but learn some fun and adaptable dance skills.
Right away, the team at Arthur Murray made us feel seen and heard, asking us thorough questions about our goals and interests. They also gave us a chance to work with them before signing any program, which really eased our nerves as we had never formally danced before. Once we started working with Laura and Kira, we knew it was going to be an amazing experience. We received so many compliments on our first dance from friends and family.
Between helping edit our first dance song, getting our confidence up at spotlight parties, or just letting us have some fun in both private and group classes, Arthur Murray really helped make our day as wonderful as possible! We're looking forward to potentially continuing our dancing journey with Arthur Murray!

Arthur Murray Dance Center of Hillsborough is absolutely amazing. The instructors are kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and very supportive. There are always classes going on for every level you’re in. The spotlight and dance parties are a blast. I have made great friends of all ages at dance. Come and give it a try. 💃🕺
My partner and I started dance lessons at Arthur Murray in Hillsborough after receiving a lesson as a xmas gift. That happened over two years ago and we are still at it. The studio is operated by Laura and Keenan Smout along with another instructor Kyra who teaches students in a number of dances depending on the students interests. To our surprise as two over 70 seniors, we have learned a number of different dances to keep the body joints loose and building muscle memory along the way. The dances are taught in a fun and patient manner with plenty of encouragement along the way. Students are encouraged to participate in student "get togethers" and show off their new skills or to just mingle and dance with fellow students. The bottom line is, the Arthur Murray studio in Hillsborough makes learning to dance fun. I don't know if my partner and I are the oldest students but we are proof that these skilled instructors can teach even us new dances. That Xmas gift for a lesson, was for us one that keeps on giving.
I am throughly enjoying my lessons and group lessons along with our extra fun things we do. Everyone has become my dance family. Our teachers have patience and are very helpful in guiding us through the process of dance. I have been involved in about a year and am having the time of my life

My wife, teenage son and I have been taking lessons with the team here for about 18 months and we all love it. It doesn’t matter how experienced you are as they adapt the lessons to your level. There’s lots of opportunities to dance with the individual lessons, group classes and dance parties happening almost every week. Kudos to Laura, Keenan and Kyra for creating such a wonderful environment.
Arthur Murray Hillsborough is an amazing place to learn how to dance! The instructors Laura, Keenan, and Kyra are incredible teachers. They are talented at what they do and they really make the lessons fun, dynamic, and rewarding. They create a welcoming environment that keeps you motivated and excited to learn and grow as a dancer. And they have really cultivated an amazing dance community through their group classes and all the events they organize throughout the year
Keenan, Laura and Kyra have been the most gracious and caring dance instructors that you could ask for. They are true professionals, and their love for dancing is only unmatched by their love for teaching dance to the clients. They go above and beyond to create such a friendly and warm atmosphere with dance parties and fun events. They encourage, empathize and recognize students to allow them to achieve their dancing goals. Overall, their commitment to their customers and the community is world class and we highly recommend them to anyone who wants to express themselves through dance!
